Gene Expression and Epigenetics

There are 20,000 genes in the human body that control the millions of chemical reactions that occur every second

A gene is like a page in a set of house blueprints that controls and specifies how certain procedures in the construction of the house are to be performed.

Just as pages to a house blueprint can be torn, damaged, or lost altogether, our genes can become damaged due to lifestyle factors like the following:

  • Modern processed diet (MPD)

  • Lack of sleep

  • Lack of Exercise

  • Stress

  • Anxiety

  • Pollution

Epigenetics is the field that studies the expression status of certain genes and whether they are functional or damaged

***Genes not properly expressed is the major cause of obesity. These misregulated genes can be passed to our offspring—which is why obesity often runs in families. (Gene expression profile of sperm in overweight men is altered such that offspring can be more prone to obesity;

Through the Epi Diet, I lost 53 lbs in the course of 9 months and have maintained the same weight for 5 years

What can we do?

  • What if there was a natural, safe, and effective way to fix our damaged epigenetic blueprint?

  • Guess What? THERE IS! How? Certain compounds found in plants called phytonutrients or EPINUTRIENTS can fix and repair the damaged epigenetic expression of our genetic blueprint!

Dr. Dan’s Epinutrient or Epi Diet to Promote Healthy Genes in the Body—thus Supporting Healthy and Sustained Weight Loss:
